Can We Eliminate all the Anime News, Please?
Hi all,
I stop in occasionally to see what members are up to, and whenever I hit "New Posts" there is an endless stream of Anime News for this thread:

It's very difficult to see what actual members are posting. I finally give up because there are only so many pages you can scroll through.. It only allows for about 98 posts to be scrolled through, and the Anime News is about 8-12 posts a day. So the occasional reader who pops in every few weeks will not see what members are posting. Just this scroll of spammy Anime news, with an occasional member post sandwiched in.
Wondering if the addition of new threads to the Anime forum can be culled down or better yet, eliminated, so that actual member posts are showing up in the "New Posts"?

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the Anime News, either, so I usually just double-click the icon to mark the whole section as read before checking for new posts.  But I just realized there's an easier solution (and, frankly, I can't believe I didn't think of it before!): just go to your User CP, scroll down to "Forums To Exclude From View" and hide the whole section...

Thanks Starrox.. I'll try that.
Still, it's not a good solution for those who pop in occasionally.. You and I see this thread, and maybe a few others for now. But in about two weeks it'll be buried in Anime spam under the New Posts. I really miss seeing who is posting, what they're posting, but honestly it's a pain in the neck to find things with this massive amount of Anime stuff to wade through.
Is it even being posted by a real person? It seems like it's auto-posting somehow.
