Ian just keeps getting better and better... I honestly didn't think the show would be that good and it seems it's also quite successful?
last night's eppy just wow! at Ian's performance. i especially loved when the characters each pretended to be the other one. when he was sitting in the woods all sobby that was heartbreaking. he really wanted Katherine back.
i do like the rather odd direction they are going with the storyline. it is not in the books quite like the series, which is a good thing.
i am still trying to sort out the ending events from last night's eppy.

when the annoying reporter guy showed up, it made me wonder WHO turned him b/c i was pretty sure Damon drained him dry. which then leads me to think that the crystal is superfluous to bringing back Katherine. kind of like a red herring. i think she has already "escaped" whatever spell Emily used to save her and is now exacting her revenge on the brothers. the comment by Stefan or was it Damon? about Katherine being evil or something.
of course none of the spoiler fonted content was in the books so i am only speculating what may come next.

I love the show,and I can't wait for the show to return. I wonder what Damon is going to do now that he found out that Katherine was not in the tomb? I also wonder how Bonnie is going to feel towards Elena now that her grandmother died saving Stefan and Damon?
OMG...I can't wait for the new season to start! Now I admit I was a huge Sawyer fan when I watched Lost, didn't think Boone was that cute but my oh my.....Ian on TVD is amazing and oh so very HOT! I am supposed to go to a convention next April so I really hope he doesn't cancel out!
