Dexter Season 7!
Anyone watch the premiere Sunday??? HOLY S**TBALLS!!! Can't believe Deb knows everything so soon! I thought they'd drag that out for half the season. Can't wait for next week!

7.1 Are you...?
So, Deb finally found out that Dexter is a serial killer, in the most visceral of ways, by first walking in on him while he was plunging the knife and then through her own powers of deduction.
Some contrivances to advance the plot, like LaGuerta finding that blood slide and the abandoned luggage room at the airport being unvisited for all the time it took Dexter to set up and execute the kill, but I can live with them.
I thought the episode handled the sibling drama very well and also set up the threads for the season which I imagine are:
1) How Deb deals with Dexter's serial killer status and Harry's role on Dexter's life
2) The Russian mob will be on the hunt for the guy that made their own boy disappear. I suspect that this season, instead of having a season-arc serial killer that plays cat and mouse with Dexter (as we've had in other seasons), the Big Bad will turn out to be the whole Russian Mob organization. That should raise the stakes a bit
3) LaGuerta is going to try to clear Doakes of the Bay Harbor Butcher label. Will Deb interfere to throw suspicion away from Dexter? Will Quin help LaGuerta?
4) Louis, the psycho intern, is he a serial killer? Has he killed someone yet? Or is he a killer in the making that will slowly escalate throughout the season? Does he know who Dexter really is or is his interest in Mr. Morgan a run-of-the mill (for this show) obsession?

Re: 7.1 Are you...?
Pretty good episode, but I had a lot of trouble getting over the ridiculous airport kill. That was just all kinds of preposterous. Although LaGuerta being the one to notice the blood slide is also a strong contender for most preposterous thing, since, you know... it's LaGuerta.
I'm very glad that they decided not to drag out Deb's "investigation" of Dexter over the whole season, and for once somebody on the show did something logical when she tore apart his apartment.
If Louis isn't killed by the end of this season, I'll be disappointed.

Re: 7.1 Are you...?
I can pretty much always accept wherever Dexter kills people since really he should have been caught a LONG time ago. So the airport kill didn't bother me.
LaGuerta finding the slide though? LOL....yeah right. But oh well. Doesn't kill my enjoyment of the show. And Louis definitely has to go! What is up with that creeper??

Re: 7.1 Are you...?
Last week was my favorite of the season yet. Plus Louis is dead. So that's good.
