Re: Revolution - NBC
I have to say this.....it is starting to remind me (too much) of Terra Nova except no cool dinos!

I am starting to get hooked on this show...it does remind me alot of Terra Nova..I do like the characters..love seeing Billy Burke for sure! Wondering how they got power at that one girl's house (I forget her name...). I do hope it doesn't get cancelled...

Now that you mention it.....and I had a similar problem with Terra Nova in terms of the characters. Loved the premise, but didn't connect with most of the characters. It was a pretty show though, and yay dinos! I just really need more character development on Revolution.......and more Elizabeth Mitchell..

Good news about the whole season Sam. Maybe I will develop a liking to the characters more as they start to gel with one another. The plot seems a little thin at the moment but with time I'm sure they can flesh it out a little. So far all I see is mankind is still a "defective" animal....greed just doesn't go away lol

I'm interested enough in the premise that it has kept me wanting to watch each week, but I'm having trouble "caring" about a couple of characters - namely Charlie (the daughter) and Danny (the son who was taken). Which is a problem, since I am supposed to "care" about them the most. In the pilot, I gave them a pass because pilots in general are flawed as they try to shove everything into them to make you care long enough to give the show ratings. But 3 episodes in and I completely tune out whenever Danny is on the screen - mainly it's the actor, but that whole storyline just hasn't roped me in to care.
As for Charlie, it is also a problem with the acting, but at least her story is interesting. Plus her scenes usually include Billy Burke - who is easily the best thing about the show so far, both due to his acting and his storyline.

Re: Revolution - NBC
That pretty much sums it up for me.
I thinks they really screwed up the casting of those 2 main characters.
