Re: Revolution - NBC
Well all I can say is I don't have to worry about "liking" Maggie anymore. So far other than Miles and the interesting "Dharma" like device that Sam screencapped all I'm getting is the old manlike is a defective animal lol. They need to get a little more into what is going on and less into the downfall of world. Just an opinion

Re: Revolution - NBC
Anyone else think they are making Danny out to be "Special"?

I finally managed to watch all four episodes yesterday, and, unfortunately, I had the same problem some of you have mentioned above: I just can't seem to really care about most of the characters! Maggie's death didn't quite get to me, and even though I still know who Grace and Jeremy (I wonder why... ) are, I couldn't remember "Google-guy's" name until I looked it up...

Lapidus!!!!
I keep hoping this show will turn around but they should all be dead by now.
And Rachel what are you thinking? You really just need to kill Monroe.

If only I could get my iphone to hold a charge for longer than 15days let alone 15years!
Yep 87% of the worlds population have one. Over 6 billion at last count. Over 2 million cell towers and antennas in the US alone. A perfect delivery system where you can reach out and touch almost everyone.

So once more down yet another rabbit hole?
The shows... "creator Eric Kripke has assured us that the answer is theoretically possible." He ran the premise past a physicist as well.
And there are clues sprinkled throughout the first episode as to the cause.
I won't spoiler font. You'll have to hunt and rewatch and see for yourself.
Rather orderly shutdown of society? The nukes most likely don't work either. Stalemate for the whole planet.

Watch 0:58 thru 1:02 and note the progression of the circular pattern (and apparent center) of the blackout wave. Europe stays on a tiny bit longer than North America so the phenomena is centered somewhere out in the Atlantic. Ship? Or a natural event? And what branch of physics would you look to for an explanation of how to selectively knock out the electro part of electromagnetics? I suppose that thunder storm from the previous episode back may offer another clue? Any lightning?
This is sounding somewhat like the implied premise behind Stephen King's novel "Cell"....

Smells like carrots.. There was no detonation or flash before the outage so man made is my guess. Did you notice the Michigan grid Ben was downloading off of?
The invisible Empire rises again... M.. The revolution started long before the Blackout.
